Seven Layer Salad

1 large head of chopped Romain lettuce (or spinach)
1 sliced cucumber
1 diced tomato
1/2 diced red onion
1 cup frozen peas
1 lb fried bacon, crumbled
8 oz cheese

Start by seasoning a large glass bowl with olive oil and garlic salt. Layer in the following order:
red onion
spread approx 1/2 cup mayo on top
then layer with frozen peas
fried bacon

Cover and leave it in the fridge overnight. I usually make it the same day and refrigerate only a short time to let the flavors combine. Makes an impressive presentation. Toss right before serving.
